My local on a Friday night, prior to Covid you wouldn’t have been able to see the bar due to customers, look at it now

I like the clock on the ceiling, very useful to check the time if you find yourself on the floor for some reason....

What I want to know is, what is the world doing about China, we all know that is where it started but since the initial lockdown there has been little in the way of news regarding what is being done to make sure this doesn't happen again. If it's the wet markets, are they being regulated or fined and if it's from the military then will sanctions take place? It all seems so quiet regarding this....

with over 52 million people contracting Covid around the world, wet markets in China have become pointless this thing is well established with humans as the host species if you're going to catch Covid, it won't be from a bat or a pangolin or a Chinese traveler, it will be from your neighbor
herd immunity will come in another year or two hopefully an effective vaccine comes in less than a year
as for happening again yeah, somewhere in the world another disease will crop up the world will probably be better prepared wherever and whatever comes next unless it doesn't happen for 100 years and then the lessons will be forgotten

I personally believe that this is man made and that it originated in the labs. The wet markets have been around for 100s of years with no problems so if the authorities are adament that they are to blame, why has it happened?

I can't stand this anymore! Buttler We're all in this together. Here's a little encouragement in the face of adversity, courtesy of the Doobie Brothers: "..It's still such a long road and we're a long way from the start." "If you take the blues in your stride, all you need's a song to survive..." "We won't be here waitin', worried, wonderin', wishin' we were somewhere other than right here, but baby we're right here." I missed my June Doobie Brothers 50th Anniversary Tour Concert this summer (with really cheap tickets), so I'm making up for it by listening to them a lot when I take my daily walks. Take care!

Here's a tune from the charismatic Dadi Freyr - he's the musician from Iceland who was to represent his country at Eurovision 2020 with the brilliant, catchy track Think About Things. (If they'd held the contest, he should have won it by a mile.)
Now he's written this number about life in quarantine. Hope the song, and his performance, gives everyone a lift.
