Ireland's CallIreland's Call is the title of an initiative to 'call' Irish doctors working overseas back home. Up until recently, Ireland's Call was better known as an anthem used by the Ireland rugby team when they play overseas. The rugby team is unique in that it represents the entire island of Ireland - the Republic and Northern Ireland. The individual anthems of both wouldn't be appropriate - The Soldier's Song or God Save The Queen - to play for the combined team.* I'm sure that the Irish Rugby Football Union won't mind if Ireland's Call takes on a more important meaning now. Ireland's a small nation and it'll need all of the healthcare staff it can get to cope with this unbelievable emergency. * Ireland's home matches are played in Dublin. Here, Ireland has two anthems - The Soldier's Song and Ireland's Call.

I'm not really a fan of Boris, but I hope he pulls through. Day 10 is a critical point in Covid-19 disease progression. The body generally fights off the disease by then in milder cases. Day 10 is when the odds of complications - usually severe pneumonia increase sharply. They are saying he was brought in for precautionary tests - which may mean a CT scan to have a look at his lungs.
