It really bugs me that my favourite bands - Kiss and ELO - both manages to f••• up their RARHOF induction ceremonies. And both after having been snubbed for such a long time.

Well, leaving aside all the reunion wishful thinking, I'm looking forward to reading Bev's autobiography (assuming he's still writing one and has a publisher!) Be interesting to hear what really happened between 83-86 and the background of Part ll saga. A few scores may well get settled and (regrettably) I wouldn't really blame Bev if he did.

I'm not a book reader as such but this would be a 'must read' book. Does anyone know if it's coming out anytime soon?

Would love for another stop at the Hollywood Bowl with the full orchestra...
...with a new setlist, of course.

I'd would love to hear Jeff Lynne and his band perform "Big Wheels" and "Summer and Lightning." Those two are, for me, the best part of the concerto but both have never been played live to my knowledge. I was stunned when I saw "Big Wheels" on Flashback, seemed it was forgotten like "Summer and Lightning" still is.

Summer and Lighting has always been a favourite of mine too,the way it builds to the chorus is sublime. My only criticism of it is the middle eight part but I can live with it....

Here's a news item that I missed this year.
<< The tech company SkyDrive completed the first successful public test of a flying car in Japan in August. The manned vehicle, named SD-03, circled the Toyota Test Field, home to the company’s development base, for four minutes. SkyDrive plans to make the car available to consumers by 2023. >>
Forget Tesla, sign me up for a flying car painted in Out of the Blue colors!

Any update on Bev`s autobiography? This book would be a must-read, definitely! (Shard Ender, do you know anything about it? And when is your book finally coming out? We have been waiting for so many years now.)

Can’t be too far away, according to Bev speaking on Quill Connect a week ago, he spoke about reading a snippet from the book. Have to say he seems like a really top bloke. I know I’II be be one of the the first to buy it. Should be a great read
