Was it? I hadn't thought about that possibility. Geez, that means I still don't know which of the two is your favourite band.

And that's the way life's meant to be, to quote a certain beardy Brummie.

Hey, unomusette ! Did you know you have a fans club in Buenos Aires? I thought I couldn't let this opportunity of making you blush publicly slip away, so here's the story: A few nights ago some friends came over to my house. In the living room I've got this digital frame which shows pictures, and I've got it loaded with pictures of trips I've made (I've got some really spectacular photos, I'm going to show you sometime soon). Well, I also happen to have loaded the pictures that Mr. Musette took of our day out at Cardiff -only those, I still haven't loaded the others I took on my trip to the UK, I have to filter as many of them are blurry or worthless-. Well, we were chatting and drinking and the frame was there showing pictures. All of a sudden one of my friends asks: -" who is this?". I looked at the picture and... " oh... it's one of my forum friends, she's from Wales" (they know about my lurkings on this forum) as a picture of you was in display. My friend: "S he's cute!" (well, the equivalent of it in Spanish), much to the agreement of the others. Another friend: "... Sure it's just a friend?"... Me: " yes, she is". The night goes on and a good while later the frame decides to show the picture of us at the entrance of Spiller Records holding each other like friends normally do for photos, but that was more than enough for my friends: - Look, it's the cutie again!- And he's holding her!- So she was a friend, wasn't her?
- What a boss!- Well done!I couldn't help but laugh at the situation but when I was able to stop I took the explanations of the case more seriously, making my points as to the fact that most everyone (ourselves included) poses for photos that way, that it was true that we were friends, that the lady was in fact married and that her husband was there taking us the photos they were seeing. But it was to no avail, they wouldn't stop. Later on a third picture of that day at Cardiff appeared, the one in which we were standing at the entrance of the City Hall. - Who's that guy?- Yeah, what's that guy doing with you two?Me: - It's her husband! Didn't I tell you?- Oh, what a bluff!- Yeah, what a disappointment!- Man, you should delete that picture...So that's how your Buenos Aires fans club started, Uno... lol

Tee hee! I'm not blushing, I'm dead chuffed that your mates considered me a catch for a young guy like you, when I'm old enough to be your mad auntie. Lucky there were no close-ups Wait till they see the ones of you with vlogdance and queenofthehours, your reputation will be even more enhanced

And after this I'm not sure I'll load my photos with the other female members of the forum to the frame or I'll have to bear too much harassment. Apparently with vlogdance the age difference isn't visible for the public either, as evidenced by the lady who asked us to kiss for the photo. It could also be that I look too old, who knows?... but no, it's that you two look real young, definitely.

Yes, your last comment is definitely the best part of that post. I'd forgotten about your fan club in London, who were convinced you and vlogdance were famous. Admit it, you have star quality and it rubs off on those around you

...more kind of an exotic animal quality, but it worked wonders in the UK so I won't complain. On another note, did you guys use Google today? Over the search text field there are drawings from the Neverending Story because it's the 37th anniversary of it's first publishing (the book). I grew up kind of obsessed with the movie. G'mork, the character on my avatar, is from that story, as are Atreyu and Falkor:

I knew The Neverending Story was from a book but I never knew it was from one that had been published so recently to the movie version.
Gosh I loved that movie as a child. I never understood the plot but I really wanted a pet Falkor. When the horse died it was heart-rending and gave me a lifelong fear of sinking in mud. I haven't watched it in years mostly because I know I'll watch it with the same feelings I had when watching it as a kid - I mean how can you still be terrified of a talking wolf when you are over 30? And how can a pink dragon still make you cry??
I'm still getting my head around the fact that it was Wolfgang Petersen who directed it! How did I not know this?

Same generation, queenofthehours. Nice to see I wasn't the only one marked by that movie. BTW, I'm not sure G'mork (or Gumork) was a wolf; if you could qualify him as a known species of animal, I'd say he looked more like a bear to me, as he was way fatter and his paws looked more like bearish. The horse was named Arthax.

That poor horse, animal suffering really hurts you as a child - I can't even go near Watership Down...

After he attacks Atreyu and is lying deadly wounded, look at his paws and his physical contexture. That can never be a wolf. BTW, here's a few memes you might feel related to:

It appears that my cactus Heat McDroughtwell went jealous of another forum cactus who has had a song dedicated to him and, in the best style of a spiteful ex-girlfriend, decided to go all beautiful suddenly to make me regret the decision of despising him:
Swear that's not a Hawaian crown I put to it, it suddenly grew those flowers.

N'aww, Heat is beeeyooootiful! Does he have flowers every year or is this a once-in-a-lifetime blossoming?
I can report that Wilf is looking rather dashing at the moment, I swear that since we all started taking an interest in him he came out of his cocoon, dropped off some of his older branches and is now glossy instead of dusty. I have high hopes for his Christmas eruption this year.
