Maybe the thinking on this is, if the song is too long, Jeff would hold up the works!
I love the song Junk and can't wait to hear Jeff sing it.

I noted that the deluxe version of The Art Of McCartney includes a DVD ..does anyone have any idea what it might include? It would be nice to think it would have some involvement from Jeff.

I hate to sound like an empty-brained fanatic, but I will do anyway: for the little fragment that can be heard, I would say the master has really excelled in this one.
PS: I never thought Alice Cooper would be able to do "Eleanor Rigby" without butchering it, but he did a great job.

Not bad for Mr McCrapney to approve of this tribute album. : ) I think you had a typo there when you referred to the second most talented musician on Earth after Jeff Lynne...

I think you had a typo there when you referred to the second most talented musician on Earth after Jeff Lynne... It's supposed to be deliberate, silly! So you are telling me you referred to Sir James Paul Freaking McCartney, Genius, in such a way... on purpose? I'm afraid I'll have to call G'mork to teach you how to spell his name properly... And hey, didn't you say you were a big Beatles' fan?

I like the Beatles as a group, but on their own? Meh... Do you know who wrote each of the Beatles songs? I am fully aware of the Lennon-McCartney songwriting process, together they are awesome, but solo? Meh... The only Beatle I believe that can do well enough on his own is George Harrison.
