Ahh the fashions of the past, how we thought they were great and when you look back you think what was I thinking? That's what I think when I see what kind of awful crap I wore when I was younger

The only thing I remember wearing a lot when I was younger like early 00's and that was jelly shoes with socks, though I blame my mother more than myself for that

One I barely caught -luckily- but I'm sure you remember, BSJ , were the tiny and tight shorts in summer (so were the t-shirts). Many of them didn't leave much to the imagination. Luckily that ended in the '90s. In your case, Wolfie, how bad can it be? When you were young was like 10 years ago, how much can fashion have changed since then? Of course no one's safe from his parents dressing him horribly just because...

Tiny shorts are still around, me boyo. I cannot understand a parent letting their pre-teen run around showing off their "imaginations".

Are they still around in Toledo? Because other than in running events I haven't seen them around much in Bs. As. (thankfully for the sake or reasonable trousering, to quote a certain Welsh friend of mine). I'm talking about stuff like this:

I'm talking about pre-teen girls wearing jean shorts. Nothing wrong with the above though.

Aaahhhm! You are talking about girls! Well, that's a whole different matter then! Although I must agree that too many parents dress up their young girls in a really inconvenient way, as if they were in a hurry for them to grow up.
Now, as for the older girls, the fashion of small tight shorts has never been a thing of the past.

From what I remember as a kid I remember me and my sister wearing a lot of track suit bottoms and a sports jacket and trainers that use to light up and yes my parents like any other parents dressed me up in some awful clothes when I was a baby. Denim was a thing too from what I remember too!

Trainers that lit up??? Did they have an internal bulb or something? You didn't have light up trainers in Argentina, you missed out both my daughters had them. A switch in the heal lit up the a bulb in the shoe when weight was applied.
