And don't swallow so much what the press says about Donald Trump either: he is not Satan and he will be a better president than you think. lmao!!!!!!! It seems you'll have to bear with him though...

I've already seen one earnest account of the many ways a second referendum could come about. Apparently this is what Boris Johnson wanted all along.
Also one person who voted "leave" now whining because they really wanted to remain but didn't think their vote really mattered *facepalm*

I'm happy and proud to say that I voted to leave this mess that we call the EU. Sure, things will be a little rocky for the forseable future but these things have a way of sorting themselves out. I live in an area where the eastern Europeans are numerous and the place where I work that has 400 workers, they actually outnumber the British. I want my country back and if that makes me a xenophobic little Englander, then I'll gladly wear the t-shirt that says it.....

I will stand up and say I also voted leave and didn't care who knew it. And went into work today to be more or less blamed for causing a total future meltdown by everyone else bar one who claimed to have voted remain.
I don't think it will affect immigration, and I have no problem with people from other countries who come here with jobs to go to, but I do object to being over-ruled by a group of un-elected civil servants whose accounts have never been signed off.
Still wouldn't be surprised if there's a second referendum though. It's already happened in Ireland and Denmark in the past and seems to be the way these things are done.

Just a question, Uno: second referendums only happen if the country has chosen to leave, or they also happen if the country has chosen to stay?

generally if you are changing the status quo, you have a second referendum. Having seen the look in some of the mainstream leave politicians eyes yesterday, it was clear it was a pyrrhic victory.

I wonder how many Brits will wash dishes at restaurants and work on weekends/night shift in supermarkets in the next future... C'mon Brits, just kidding

The most important question that nobody is addressing, is what becomes of One Direction?
Seriously, I don't have a horse in this race cause I'm a dumb American. I think it was a bad move, but who am I to tell people from other countries how to think? I hope it works out well for the land of my forefathers.

In Argentina we had a president (Kirchner) who once forced people to vote in order to choose betweeen the private and the statal pension system (despite the fact that people were being able to choose as soon as they started working). Whoever didn't expressly vote to stay in the private system fell in the state. A huge majority chose to remain in the private system. So what does Kirchner do just a few months later? To hell with the votation, I'll abolish the private system and make all of it's funds fall in the state. And he did it! At least the EU gives you the chance to reconsider your conduct if you don't agree with it.

Obama didn't help things when he said that the UK would be at the back of the line (queue in the UK) for deals and such. Now we are are out,he now says the 'special relationship' will continue no matter what. TWO FACED......
