Stumbled upon this thread while researching something else on the internet. I didn't contribute to this thread and wasn't even a forum member at the time. I wonder if there has been any change in their relationship since this thread? No evidence that they have been speaking to each other. Any thoughts from anyone else? There's this from from an Interview Bev gave to the BBC in June 2018... link

Mildly off-topic, but as a recurring visitor to the Uttoxeter Waitrose (my family is based in the Staffordshire moorlands, for the record), I find the concept of abruptly and casually stumbling upon a conversing Roy Wood and Bev Bevan within its aisles deeply surreal in a positive sense.

This was 5 1/2 years ago now, I wonder if anything has changed in the meantime? Like Bev says, they are getting too old to be holding grudges. They are both at fault to a degree so come on fellas,do it for the millions of fans....

I wonder if they were discussing the price of aubergines.....

I've said this for years. Jeff Lynne, a great musician, has quite the hubris about him. I went to one of his new ELO concerts and found it very very boring. I'd rather listen to The Night the Light Went On album or Live at Winterland. When the Moody Blues got inducted into the hall of fame, at least they invited Mike Pinder, he wasn't allowed to talk though....

I'd rather listen to The Night the Light Went On album or Live at Winterland. That's black and white thinking. I think they are two completely different show concepts, both of which are/were great in their own way. When it comes to Jeff's character, I think he's rather way too modest. McCartney and many others describe him as very shy and innocent. There is no doubt that ELO has been his project from the second album onwards. He can do whatever he wants to do with it. Apparently, it's more fun for him to record everything on his own. It seems to be his natural way of working, as he pointed out in the documentary. After all, that's how he started when he recorded his first demo songs with his B&O recorder at home. And he also sees it as a personsl challenge I suppose. I'd love to see him working with members of his live band, though.

Mike Pinder didn't speak at the RRHOF because the show had already massively overrun. Have a look on his own website, there's no mention he wasn't allowed to speak. He chose not to.

I'm pleased to hear that Bev bumped into Sharon Osbourne in Birmingham recently. He said in the clip below he hadn't seen her for years.
