I have grown very fond of all of them especially after watching the Wembley or Bust interviews. Me too. I liked all the band before but after seeing the film they really do feel like true members and as familiar as Kelly or Mel.

I was thinking today about all of the untapped talent in Jeff's band. The beautiful ladies in the string section who sing so well are an example. I hope if Jeff decides to produce again he will do something with them either as individuals or small groups. It would certainly be a nice reward for all their hard work. I have grown very fond of all of them especially after watching the Wembley or Bust interviews. I bet you can't wait for the Houston concert. I think about it every day my friend! As Jeff would say "I'm really chuffed about it".

Mike definitely seems to be the Jon Herington to Jeff's Donald Fagen.

Queen of the Hours suggested that Jeff utilize Mike's sax talents. Completely agree! And Jeff is working on a new album, so hopefully the idea has come to him. No need to play every instrument himself. I like the '70s style ELO with 10 lbs of music packed into a 5 lbs song. Most producers can't make that work, but Jeff sure could.
Layer of strings, layer of keys, layer of sax, layer of cowbell, ...
