I'll say this right off the bat I am wrong about these things more often than I am right but I do not think ithere is going to be a US tour. In only it's third week on the charts the album has dropped to 196. Not a good sign. I'm thinking that Jeff is going to be content with the tremendous success of the European tour. I think I heard that all dates are sold out. And he's playing large venues. In the US he would have to play small theaters and there are no guarantees he will sell those out. I'm just thinking he may decide that it's not worth the possible aggravation of a repeat of the zoom tour. I am keeping all fingers and toes crossed that I am wrong

AITU peaked here at number 23. The highest charting ELO/Jeff Lynne album since 1981. It's second week, it only fell to 66, which actually surprised me since I thought it would tumble out of the top 100. The charts here are far different than they are in the UK, so for an artist like Jeff (meaning over 60) to do that well on the top 200 album chart is pretty damn impressive.
Having said that, I don't think we'll see him do arenas, here. Most likely he'll stick to theaters and medium sized venues (like The Fonda in LA), and stick to big cities.

From what he's said in recent interviews, I'm pretty sure that he will tour the US. There's an inviting gap between the end of the European Tour and the two new UK dates but selfishly, I'm hoping for July. I'm spending all but the last couple of days of that month travelling from the East Coast to the West Coast!

I was surprised nothing was announced after Jeff played the NY and LA mini concerts.

I was surprised nothing was announced after Jeff played the NY and LA mini concerts. Me too, that's how it worked in the UK... I'm still hopeful their will be an American tour. I'm surprised at how many UK dates they are now, he need to rest his voice and not over do it. I'm concerned TBH, 67 is no spring chicken!

I'm concerned for my voice, shouting and singing along for three concerts and I'm only 52

Jeff lives in the US, making a tour here very convenient.

If Jeff doesn't do a U.S. tour I'm going to write him a very nasty letter in which I tell him that we Americans never really thought his accent was posh at all... we were just being polite. Of course, it's not true... but that's just how I roll !!!

The sold out concerts in the UK and Europe will make Jeff desirable in the US. I hope he plays theaters and medium sized venues. I've the stamp elophile !

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's worried about the schedule that Jeff is putting himself through. I too hope for a US Tour. But he and his voice are in for an adventure with all the dates in UK/Europe piling up. Take it easy man, slow down! Enough the ride.

On the 30th he will be 68 so let's hope he takes care of himself.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jeff plans to do some US dates in the middle of next year, as Rob Caiger's recently hinted at an overhaul of the ELO catalogue for around that time to coincide with the latest album. Yes, I realise a lot of what Rob's promised in the past has failed to materialise, but on this occasion it seems both Sony and Jeff are on the same page when it comes to ideas for promotion, though I'm not entirely convinced all-analogue vinyl transfers of the classic era material catering to the audiophile market will make any serious impact commercially, so they're either going to be issuing a massively-expanded remastering campaign as well or maybe some kind of Anthology type rarities package - the clues given out to date don't just indicate yet another greatest hits compilation. We shall see... Oh, and for someone of his age, Jeff looks and sounds fantastic. He's obviously been taking care of himself, high on that hill in Eldorado (I mean Los Angeles)!

The local outdoor concert venues Face Book Page just shared the Video from the Kimmel Show, ELO playing Evil Women. They don't normally promote bands unless they're going to play there! Maybe they announce something soon. On High alert now!
