Oh God, I've just made a Last of the Summer Wine reference at 19 years of age... :/ I need to get out the house more often.
P.S has Salis popped his clogs yet?

This is great news! Good for Jeff. I wonder how long he's known he would be appearing? It will be great publicity for the album although it won't be shown on TV until a few weeks after it's been released.
Elton and Kylie performing (quick Jeff, knock up a few tracks to wow them with. You know you could produce either of them a number 1 LP). Sadly Little Mix and One Direction (I thought they'd split?) are also invited to lower the tone of this prestigious event.
I stopped watching the RVS years ago, there were too many bad comics, west end show snippets and third rate pop bands for my taste. I thought the RVS was supposed to be special? Not show us what we can see all year round in the first place. Why do we even need 1D there - they've been in the news too much anyway. All I can see that's special in this year's line up is Jeff himself!
It's even more special, the RVS, this year because it's at the Albert Hall. Has Jeff ever played the Hall? I know he did Concert for George there. Surely he'll have an orchestral accompaniment?
My guess at his songs are - 'Mr Blue Sky', 'When I Was A Boy' and either 'Livin' Thing' or another new one from the album. ive never been to the RAH....it would be great if jeff played a few nights there on tour next year....im sure he is worthy of it....if someone like paul carrack can sell the place out for a few nights every year im sure jeff could....(im not criticising paul carrack by the way....he has a great voice)...... mr blue sky when i was a boy....glad i wont be there if he does do this....its one of two elo tracks that get me all welled up....its the way he sings 'just wanna sing do you love me baby'....and it gets me every time.... a third track....all over the world....(not everyone loves this but i do)....or maybe this one first and mr blue sky last....

P.S has Salis popped his clogs yet? Peter Sallis (Clegg in Last of the Summer Wine) is still with us. Although possibly not clog dancing.

No matter, I'm still gonna start a death pool with him joining a long list of names of celebrities who are over 85 years of age like Zsa Zsa Gabor, Kirk Douglas, Jerry Lee Lewis or Abe Vigoda. Care to join me?
