I would imagine this will be possible in the not too distant future... And if that happens, will Jeff's lawyers/estate send cease and desist letters to those that fix BOP? I hope so.

That is futile because anyone with the AI tech tools will be able to replicate the tracks. That is called the democratization of music. And it is really easy with most ELO music because the underlying tracks are fairly basic and predictable (I have several albums on piano sheet music and see the chord structures). Maybe not Jeff's twiddly bits, but certainly the core of any ELO track.

One thing's for sure and that's AI is here to stay. The levels of creativity will surely go down as all people will do is press buttons to make music, so regulations will inevitably come in. Like you say, Jeffs lawyers will be busy..
