I think the most deserving nominees are probably Warren Zevon, Iron Maiden, George Michael, Willie Nelson(if Dolly Parton can get in, Willie definitely needs to be included), and Cyndi Lauper.
If I have to narrow it down to one, it has to be Warren Zevon. One of the most influential singer/songwriters to emerge from that mid-late 1970's LA scene.

Only two of my choices are in there at the moment (George Michael and Iron Maiden) Kate Bush should have been included years ago along with Maiden. I also went for Warren Zevon and Joy Division /New Order.

I voted for Zevon, Spinners, Kate Bush, White Stripes and Joy Division/New Order. See, I like the White Stripes a lot, but did they really have a HOF-worthy career? I mean, yea, Seven Nation Army is iconic cause it's played at every sporting event imaginable, but other than that they were just a really good band who achieved some better than average success. Maybe the HOF committee is including Jack White's career as a producer and record label owner in their criteria.

I figure if they can combine Joy Division & New Order then I’m free to combine White Stripes, Raconteurs, and Jack White solo work.

I figure if they can combine Joy Division & New Order then I’m free to combine White Stripes, Raconteurs, and Jack White solo work. This is an odd decision in my opinion, you could argue The Move/ELO, George Michael /Wham etc etc. I still voted for JD/NO though...

When the Rock Hall included Roy with ELO, they implied that they were considering Roy's work with The Move along with ELO. In the Hall's defense, Rock bands that stay around a long time often have a messy history. I would have invited some string players - at least Mik. That symphonic sound is what sold a bazillion records.

The Spinners were known in the UK as The Detroit Spinners due to there being an English folk group called the same. Used to love watching them when I was a kid singing songs such as 'What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor' or 'Kum By Yah'!

Definitely Kelly Groucutt Mik Kaminski Hugh McDowell Melvyn Gale Louis Clark Possibilities Mike de Albuquerque Wilf Gibson Mike Edwards Colin Walker futurerocklegends.com/Snubbed_Members/Please also see my post from 2018 on this subject here jefflynneselo.proboards.com/post/60842/thread

Where have all the votes come from for Warren Zevon? 2 weeks ago he was languishing in about 7/8th place and now he's 3rd, he is one of my choices but this seems a little weird that he has shot up in so little time.

same thing (big swings in votes) happened the year that ELO was inducted all you need is an e-mail or social media account to vote could be viral campaigns by the supporters of one or more artists or it could be bots getting through the screening process but I'm glad Zevon has moved up
