Forgive me if this has been asked before but has anybody ever listened to the run on at the end of “Save me now” on Armchair Theatre. Jeff likes throwing in quirky little pieces in his albums. I was listening to it recently and I had forgotten all about it. The noise of the seagulls then Jeff saying “It’s still going you know” made me smile. Some people may have never even heard it.

That's a great bit him saying “It’s still going you know”. The tinkling of bells. I always listen for it.

It was even added to the remastered cd after the bonus tracks.

It was even added to the remastered cd after the bonus tracks. Ashamed to say this I bought the remastered copy and I have never listened to it. Wonder why Jeff did away with the seagulls on the cover(apart from one)

I love little extras like this.
It reminds me of the "Hello CD listeners" bit from Full Moon Fever -

Love that bit, I’m pretty deaf so I never caught it til listening through headphones just a while back. It was even added to the remastered cd after the bonus tracks. Ashamed to say this I bought the remastered copy and I have never listened to it. Wonder why Jeff did away with the seagulls on the cover(apart from one) Made me curious enough to hobble across the room and pull my CD out, I’d never consciously noticed that the cover was different from the remastered one used on Spotify. (I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, I never consciously noticed there were two different versions of the guitar solo in Let It Be until it was pointed out to me, either!)

the little extras shed some light on the artist's sense of humor here's a bit that Parthenon fit into his first album after moving back to the East Coast
