Those early liner notes were somewhat less than optimal and have since been updated as part of a catalogue refresh earlier this month to coincide with The Bug Club's latest upload. On the other hand, an image did recently surface showing what appears to be Kelly long after he was supposedly frozen out of the sessions at Wisseloord, so maybe that booklet could be due yet another revision? And is that image available in the public domain, ShardEnder ?

And is that image available in the public domain, ShardEnder ? At first I had a hard time seeing Kelly. I thought this was Jeff with an elephant standing over him, with the trunk down by the left arm. Has there been any explanation accompanying this photo ShardEnder?

In response to a recent comment, here's an old quote by Kelly that should help explain how much he received and where this was coming from: By contrast, Richard annually made double this figure (likely as a retainer of sorts on Jeff's part) and brought in the most of any member who wasn't a legal co-founder of ELO, which may explain why he ended up relocating to Los Angeles as a tax exile for a while in the early '80s. On top of this, it should be noted that Jeff, Bev, Richard and Kelly all had their own sponsorship deals at one point or another - at the very least, I know Richard was a brand ambassador for Yamaha around 1978 because he was presented with a CS-80 to use on later shows during that year's tour, which served as his main keyboard all the way up to mid-1981, when Jeff bought him one of three Oberheim OB-Xa synthesisers, keeping one for himself and offering the last to Dave Morgan as a welcoming gift. In Bev's book, it's stated that Don Arden took care of the contracts for Jeff, Bev, Kelly, and Richard, while Melvyn Gale handled the contracts for him, Hugh, and Mik.

Is Jeff wearing some sort of armour on his lower half. It might be his spelunking trousers I guess
