It's the timing of it that is a daft idea,1998? Jeff was probably doing zilch that year. Even if it came out a couple of years later around 'Zoom' time,it still would have been wrong....

This one was Jeff on steroids. Maybe it was "The Bouncer" version? Or maybe to make the production more economic they used unsold He-man dolls for the body and just added them Jeff's head and a guitar?

Well, from the horses mouth, I think it looks tatty, I think it bears little resemblance to Jeff Lynne and by doing so it makes a mockery of and cheapens the brand name. If people are prepared to part with their hard earned for it then that's their decision and nothing to do with me but I'd not buy it myself. Aha, I see... given that your first message said " you have to ask just how low are the marketers prepared to stoop to make money out of the fandom" (and nothing about the aspect of the doll) I thought your complaints were about marketers stooping low and making money out of the fandom, but now I see they were about the aspect of the doll all along. My bad, my reading comprehension needs some improvement. No es problema...
