yes it's confusing. The black rim with the circle of lights under the spaceship in strange magic's pic? That's what they had suspended overhead at Dallas. From watching concert footage of that same tour, I had expected the full-on spaceship and kept thinking they were just saving the big effects and would light the thing up at some point.

None of us in the US got the spaceship. There was recently a discussion on the forum about how disappointed some of us were at the lack of spaceship.

Jeff left the spaceship at home for the European, British and Irish bits of the tour as well. I think we should bear in mind that initially only one big gig was planned for last year - Wembley. But, the clamour for tickets obviously whetted the appetite, and the three other venues were added. The recent touring stage looked complicated enough, without the spaceship. I may be foolish (May? Am! ), but I think Old Beardy will have a fresh new show next year. Those of us who saw the 2016 tour know how different the stage was from Wembley and this year's tour.
