I presented my son with a re-issue vinyl of ANWR for xmas (no greater love hath any man....). He has just texted me to say he has it on the turntable today (with foto!). Question - what 'fun factoid' about ANWR would it be best to assist his enjoyment of this recording?

A couple of things come to mind:
"Do Ya" was originally a Move song.
The operatic solo in "Rockaria" is in German, and the woman is basically singing what Jeff is singing "Far, far away, the music is playing."

It was named by Richard Tandy who'd been watching the Olympics on telly and heard "..and it's a new..world..RECORDDDD!!.." many times over OMG I feel so wrong now, tell me it was a joke. I used to think it was called like that because it had a more "american" pop sound that previous efforts.

I get your logic but it is what Uno wrote... The Americas, from Chile to Canada. That's the New World, and Eurasia/Africa the "Old World". Those are historical terms.
