Pass. I will stick to Bev's book. That one should be reprinted and updated. I would pay a lot for that. What a great idea, since Bevs book came out in 1980 there would be 30 odd years of updating and it would be good to hear his side of things...

Don't JL and BB have some type of legally binding non-disclosure agreement ?

What a great idea, since Bevs book came out in 1980 there would be 30 odd years of updating and it would be good to hear his side of things... I was told Bev has long since given up on the idea of writing another book derived from his journals, mainly because Jeff legally prevented him from discussing anything to do with ELO after buying his 50% stake in the group's name. In more recent years, Bev's insisted that he doesn't want to talk about ELO, though I suspect this is more a result of the continuing agreement with Jeff rather than some personal wish to distance himself from the subject. On a similar note, it wouldn't surprise me if the outcome of Kelly's lawsuit back in late 1983 included some condition that he couldn't publish anything describing his time as a member of ELO - the whole reason Jeff offered to settle out of court at all was due to a national tabloid very nearly printing a tell-all piece under the title of Lights Out that would have revealed certain key details (along with serving as a promotional tool for Kelly's second album of the same name, which RCA ultimately rejected).
