Lou Jr conducting a student string orchestra on Livin' Thing. While I am not approving of the (ELO) notation in the description, I certainly applaud high school students playing ELO. They sound great!
Hopefully Jeff would approve, but he probably would send a cease and desist letter to the high school principal first.

A little curio from around 1981. Roy, Bev, Phil Lynott and Chas and Dave(!). I vaguely remember this and think it was from OTT, the short-lived, late-night "adult" version of kids' show TISWAS. Real drums in this video. No computer programmed drums.

Jim Hoban (ELO Jim) posted this on FB to mark Kelly's passing. First time I'd heard this stripped down version. First time I am hearing this. This is equal to the original.

Remember it well and I too wondered who it was at the time.

I seem to remember that they didn't bring me much luck that night....

Last night was the premiere of Black Sabbath, The Ballet(!) [my parenthesis] by The Birmingham Royal Ballet at Birmingham Hippodrome. Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Sharon Osborne (though not Ozzy) and Bev were guests of honour.

Black Sabbath ballet? I’m imaging Ozzie in a tutu lurching about swiping at imaginary demons. For the finale, he finally catches a bat and … well you know Ozzie.
The show’s not over until the fat man bites the head off.

Amazing, what WILL they think of next? The ELO pantomime, oh yes they will, oh no they won’t.
