The Philharmonic Hall looks beautiful. Andy and Paul are looking very smart - like a Wirral Pet Shop Boys.

It's amazing how much they change from infant to adult. That's if they make it, the ranger said that only 1 in a thousand do make it to adult. More than likely these little guys in the bucket were some predators meal for the day....

queenofthehours , I do apologize for not posting sooner. I am overawed towards the Hippodrome Circus. I watched the juggler and raising the pool floor videos, but only a quarter of Sascha Williams. I became too agitated after watching him for a few minutes

I became too agitated after watching him for a few minutes I think he was working on his own version of the "Don't Bring Me Down" video complete with rockin' guitar and flames. lol

The hotel
Turtle hatchery on our beach
View from the lagoon
local wildlife (this beauty was about 3" long and it's back was bright blue and yellow)
The Blue Eye (cave with sun making a 'blue eye' image on the water)
Not a beached whale,me floating in a salt lake 20x denser than the dead sea
Paddling in Shark Bay with giant 8' ferocious lemon sharks (ok,ok maybe around 2' and they were babies...)
The place where we feasted
The place where the local mozzies feasted
The fishing pier in the islands capitol (a hive of activity, the fishermen haul their catch onto the pier then workers fillet and scale the fish and the hotel staff buy it,all the fish we eat was caught that morning) [img src=" i.postimg.cc/4Y2NkHYC/20180925-095401.jpg" src="https://i.postimg.cc/gLL38b1j/20180925-095240.jpg" style="max-width:100%;"]
Mrs T on the beach
This was in our room!

The lagoon is beautiful, as is the cave. That spider and it's web is awesome. Something Helmut83 will enjoy seeing.

Thanks Timeblue Lovely photos! I especially like the cave and the scene with the catch of the day. Fresh seafood like that can't be beat! That photo reminds me of a fishing village called M'bour that I visited in Senegal over 20 years ago. I'd love to go back to West Africa one day! Edit: Did you just switch one of the pictures?

Senegal is quite close by, and there were plenty of West Africans (probably Senegalise and Gambians) on the island.

If you call that a "beauty" then I don't want to know what call a "monster"... Good pictures, Timeblue. Interesting place. Why or from where did you get the idea of visiting Cabo Verde? It's quite an exotic destination.

I have a few pics of a turtle laying her eggs but since it was dark they don't scan well. A shame really as it was a magical experience to watch as we were only inches away from her.

It's amazing! You can find Senegalese street vendors in just about any country in the world! I've haggled with Senegalese vendors from NYC, to Paris, to San Juan Puerto Rico, to Rome, to Montreal... Surely they can be found in London, Hamburg, Rio, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, too!
