It's getting really difficult trying to make sure that you're at the last night of the tour. Must be Wembley Stadium I thought? Apparently not! Keep them coming Jeff....

Oh my God! So exciting! So that's four shows in 2017 now... starting to look like hopefully, maybe another full-fledged tour? Maybe Jeff has caught the touring bug? All that love and adulation can be addictive I hope! I hope!

For me this is fantastic as long as it doesn't water down Wembley, and considering Wembley is far from sold out I think it could in fact water it down. I can imagine lots of JL fans from Scotland whom at first thought Wembley was going to be the only concert in 2017 and were planning to attend now will probably aim at Glasgow instead. And Wembley is a big animal so you cannot afford to lose thousands of fans from Sheffield, Hull, Glasgow and their nearby areas.
What I ask myself is: how do these dates come up? How do the dynamics of setting up a concert date work? Who has the initiative? Does Jeff management come up with the idea, ask Jeff and then start to look for a venue? Do venues try to bring hot artists to play there? Does the artist himself decide he wants to play a concert at some place, then his management ask if the venue is willing?

Jeff you are spoiling us!
Why do those concert promoters keep throwing us these gigs so randomly and then make us buy tickets the NEXT DAY? Whatever happened to the old way such as queuing up outside the venue? Of giving you fair warning so folk can work a few hours overtime to pay for the darn tickets? Still, beggars can't be choosers and any ELO dates are welcome.
I love Hull but after much thought I'll let it go. It would have been nice but I don't fancy another stadium gig.

Attachment DeletedDown my Home Town..... So glad I didn't get Sheffield tickets now. If you are attending the Hull concert and need accommodation. I have a spare double room and a couple of sofas. It's not the Ritz but it is only two streets away from the actual concert venue. (Blue Dot is my house!) Happy to help!

Wembley is virtually sold out. Only 2 blocks left on level 1 - right at the back. Don't think anything will be watered down. In fact I wouldn't be surprised at another couple being added.

Wow LoserGoneWild, I didn't know tickets sales had advanced so much. Last time I checked there was still a lot to go. Good news then.
