Has anyone ,like me purchased this believing it was the anticipated new remasters? There is little ,if nothing to say it is! Does anyone have any information about this release? Out of the blue still sounds a bit rough but on listening to ' it's over' the drop out at the end on the 2007 remaster has gone! HELP ME PLEASE.

I share your concern with this one.
I held this item in my hand in HMV last weekend, ready to make a purchase when something stopped me and untypically (of me) I put it back on the shelf. I too want to believe that these are the freshly remastered editions that we've been anticipating but I'm not convinced. There's no reference to the word 'remaster' or even '2016' on the back of the box and from what I understand there's the awful white border on each sleeve that we've seen before with the Classic Albums Collection. So, if they are new remasters then why not say so on the outer packaging and if they're not why bother trimming the 2001-2007 Remaster bonus tracks?
Yet again, there's no promotion for this album set or the CD (and vinyl) issue/reissue of the All Over The World compilation on official Jeff Lynne-related sites. On the eve of Jeff's return to the UK and the Glastonbury appearance, why on earth not?!!
