This happened yesterday in Paul's show at La Plata -the title is wrong, it wasn't at the City of Buenos Aires-, Argentina: Paul McCartney shared the stage with a young fan at his gig in Buenos Aires last night.
The legendary Beatle spotted 10-year-old Leila Lacase in the audience during his show at the Argentinian capital’s La Plata Stadium, holding a sign that asked him to sign her teddy bear. McCartney went one better than her request, however, inviting both Lacase and her mother up on stage. Lacase then revealed her actual reason for grabbing the 73-year-old’s attention, informing McCartney that “I want to play bass with you," eliciting huge cheers from the audience. Lacase's wish was granted, as McCartney allowed the youngster to both play along and join in vocals on The Beatles’ 1969 single ‘Get Back’, which appeared on the group’s final album ‘Let It Be’ in 1970. I'm not asking for him to get fans onstage to sing and/or play with him, but maybe to be more relaxed and spontaneous while playing because music benefits a lot from that. While Jeff is rehearsing the outro of "Mr. Blue Sky" for the 2947th time so it comes out exactly as in the record, Paul is having fun singing and playing with anonymous fans doing versions of his songs which are not perfect but have a special touch (and Paul is far from being a big improviser, there are other artists who do much more in terms of that).

Absolutely amazing. All you need do is ask for the moon and sometimes you receive.

Fantastic. That little girl seemed to take it all in stride. Hell, I would have been weeping my stupid eyes out.
