Jeff is now playing 18 songs, having dropped AIAD and Steppin' out. Initially I thought this was because he was ill but assuming he's now ok, this has remained in all his European dates. Was this planned I wonder or related to needing to take it easy?? I hope that the month off will recharge his batteries and for the other UK dates we have the 20 song set list, maybe with some additional variations.
I'd imagine Dublin would have been a 20 song set, so will be interesting to see what happens there, especially as it was cancelled and many fans would have spent money in travel etc which they have now lost

I was very disappointed to see that he again went back down to 18 songs. I thought when he did it the last time it was only because he was still suffering a bit from his illness. As I brought up in another post I don't think his normal 20 song set is long enough. Putting that aside going to 18 songs Is a bit disturbing. I have to believe that Jeff is still suffering with lingering effects of his illness. I would think if you can do 18 songs you should be able to do 20. But that may be a case of easier said than done. I am going to believe he is shortening the set because of sickness because any other reason is unacceptable

I'll be very disappointed if Jeff doesn't restore the 20 song setlist in Dublin tomorrow. It is now the last date of the tour so even if he's still not feeling 100% i'm sure it couldn't be too hard to play the 2 extra songs as he can rest up afterwards until the shows he has in June. I think it's the least he owes the irish fans after the postponement of the concert here last week ! I was also looking forward to seeing The Feeling open for Jeff but it now transpires that it is some band called The Shoos instead. Does anyone know why The Feeling aren't doing it?

Got Steppin' Out but not Ain't It A Drag in Dublin. Was worried I'd miss my favourite song!

I like Steppin Out, but it seems like it would bring things to a screeching halt in a live setting.

I like Steppin Out, but it seems like it would bring things to a screeching halt in a live setting. At a London show he played it between Secret Messages and Shine A Little Love, Wild West Hero following. What do others think? smiley-cool15

I would especially have loved to hear "Stepping Out". And another thought: It`s very strange to call the tour "Alone In The Universe Tour" and then play only 1 song from this album. I just don`t get that. I mean "One Step At A Time" and the title track would have been great live tracks, I`m absolutely sure.

I still think One Step At A Time should be in there instead of Ain't It A Drag. I think it has single written all over it!
