Pretty good setlist although I'd love to have Prelude as the intro and I hope I get One Step at a Time on the 17th.
He has to try to balance appealing to the hardcore fans and the Bobby Blue Skies bunch, this isn't a bad stab at it.

The reviews are interesting in that they all recognise and acknowledge, that for fans, these shows significance go far beyond just another live concert. Not just in the almost unbearable time we have waited to see ELO in whatever form, (as long as JL is involved) but in the realisation of the incredibly special, personal and emotional importance they have played in so many of our lives. The feelings and emotions (yes, I keep coming back to that word) that these songs evoke in me are often of such resonance and evocative of memory that it makes you wonder if JL realises the impact he has had on so many fans lives, but I hope so. Its a rare and precious gift he has and I for one, am grateful it was a part of my life so early on.
For those of us who spent many teenage hours in our rooms listening to these songs, air-guitar/drumming along and dreaming that we were Jeff or Bev or Richard ,these concerts are a chance for the kind of shared experience that is often very rare in life. Roll on next Saturday in Birmingham, because, yes, its gonna be emotional.

Yes I thought Jeff might have popped by here myself! A certain song was played that may or may not have been the opener that in a certain poll may or may not have been one of the winners. Did Jeff look in to check what the fans wanted? As soon as the first notes were played I said to myself, "Jeff, you really do know how to give your fans what they want. Did you look in on our forum?!!" Oh Jeff, you spoil us too much! :-)

Loving that the intro music that segues into Tightrope has subtle little pieces of Fire On High, Prologue & Secret Messages mixed in!
