The organisation at the track was good, we didn’t get stuck in to many queues entering and leaving (we were on a coach), unlike Hungaroring which was horrendous. The track as you may know has a reputation for not much overtaking, however we were in a grandstand on the main straight and saw many overtakes and the cars leaving the pits. Not many of the grandstands are covered so make sure you take plenty of water and sunscreen.

Yes, there are plenty especially around the main Fanzone area which is opposite the pit lane and near the main entrance. When we went the race was alcohol free so only 0% was on sale, this didn’t bother us but others complained.

And just this morning it was announced that the Killers and Queen/Adam Lambert will be playing a Saturday night concert of the US Grand Prix weekend in Austin, TX, which is only 144 km from me. Date is 21 October. I last saw Queen when Rodgers was their lead singer (2006). HAD to purchase tickets for that! And before that, 1980.

I think that Silverstone will be the next track for me. I'm sure you'll have fun there!
