Well, any music fan who is worth his money has a handful of bands or solo artists he despises, loathes, abominates, hates and/or gets on his nerves. But the thing is, those artists may have a big catalogue of songs, and there's always the risk of coming across one song of theirs that, much to our fright, results quite enjoyable to our forgiving ear, who knows nothing of pride, embarassment or consistency with what we have been preaching about those artists. Confession time, forum mates! Which are those songs?

I like some of Madonna's early stuff and the Ray of Light album.

I like Avril Lavigne's song "Two Rivers". Not just like it, I love it!

"Hate" is a strong word, but I can't say I'm a Kelly Clarkson fan. However, this song is just incredibly catchy and a perfect pop song, in my opinion.

I must confess, I like a few covers of Britney Spears' songs Oh my... Wow, that was a strong revelation! I admire your honesty, caro amico. But hey, at least it's covers, not Britney's songs in their original version.

I hate the Eurythmics with a passion bordering on insanity ( There must be an Angel make me bilious) but I love It's Alright (baby's coming back)
I need counselling

Nick, I have never yet any Eurythmics song I like. The one you mentioned wasn't the exception: I didn't like it either.

I'm towards U2 like how J. Jonah Jameson is towards Spider-man. No real rational reason, I just am that way towards them.
That said, I have to admit that "Where the Streets Have No Name" is a song I do very much enjoy.

I'm with Horace about Madonna, as irritating as the woman is I must admit to enjoying the singles of Ray of Light and Like a Prayer. As for the Eurythmics I really like The Miracle of Love but most of the rest of their stuff leaves me cold. Bet I could come up with more, I shall ponder upon it in my spare time

Well, I hate Madonna and I don't like her (as a woman) at all. But some songs (especially '90's singles) are not too bad, I must confess (Secret, take a bow, this used to be my playground, you'll see).

"This used to be my playground", another great song.
BTW, if you can list so many songs you like from her, I'm sure Madonna doesn't qualify for this topic in your case, because it the exceptional element is no longer present.
