Just wondering if there are any (other) birthday twins of Jeff's out there? And how did this news affect you, when you first heard it , or thru the years?
Dec 30 is a funny time to have a bd.  It's sandwiched in between a lot of Winter Holidays; Solstice, Christmas, New Year's.  You're out for Christmas Break, people are generally about "gifted out", so you end up getting "dual purpose" gifts a lot. I did anyway.  Still, later on it's not so bad, especially if you don't want a big fuss mad about it!    and it's a good excuse to forget other people's bd's!  LOL

Did you know that Del Shannon was also born on Dec 30?

To some degree, but I didn't really mind. If I was hoping for something that was a bit much to ask for, I used to say "Could I get this for my Birthday and Christmas?"

Okay , let's expand this to any birthday twin, famous or otherwise that has had an impact on you.

as far as Astrological significance, for example, I of course thought it was really cool when I got the fan club cards and saw that my favorite new artist shared my birthday. I wouldn't argue the scientific merit of Astrology, but I do feel it is significant in a social way on a global consciousness - read- Jungian, level. great conversation starter in the right company. and it gives us a basis to relate to ourselves and others. There's also many other systems other than the good ol western chart. The Chinese, Mayan, etc, etc.
