On the same day that we got the sad news of Richard Tandy's death, comes word that one of Jeff Lynne's big influences, Duane Eddy, has passed.
In 1987, Duane recorded the song The Trembler, produced by Jeff Lynne, and written by Duane with Ravi Shankar. It also features George Harrison playing his signature slide guitar.

A bona fide legend, very sad to hear of Duane's passing. He must have influenced loads of our favourite classic rock musicians; Jeff must have loved working with him.
RIP Duane
