What an excellent choice, he's one person I can really see as a Wilbury

Considering the need for any new Wilbury to have prior connections to other members, I'd like to see Dave Edmunds, Joe Walsh, Roy Wood or Brian Wilson join the family... the last two are probably too much of a long shot, though. Also, I reckon it's about time "Ayrton" was promoted to full membership status already!

Snort! I don't know what you mean smiley-music025
Are there any well known female drummers or bassists? Suzi Quattro is a bassist, I suddenly recall, but I can't think of any drummers other than Denise Dufort out of Girlschool and the lady from The Big Pink.We Musers don't like The Big Pink because the singer once declared that all Muse fans are ugly. Which was a bit rich coming from a man who looked like the back end of a bus which had reversed into an Ugly Tree.

Those bouncing boobs were a clever distraction, none of them can actually play a note, amazingly. Yes, it's true. Stop staring

Same as that photo of Damey with the violin on the cover of The Light Shines On - he can't actually play the violin at all. Fancy that!

And talking about female drummers, off the back of my head, Debbi Peterson was the drummer of The Bangles, a band in which all 4 members were female.

also, how about that Jeff Lynne guy?! but seriously, if we are ever graced with another Wilbury album please god can it have Lynne taking the lead on at least *one* vocal? I particularly like the suggestion from 88keys of Elton John, a legendary voice and pianist. (boy, does Wizard of Oz make for some catchy album covers!) Also, Eric Idle was one of those "oh snap" suggestions! Say no more!

Caroline Corr can't half whack the skins, have a look at the Corrs playing Toss the Feathers live
