Last remaining member of The Spinners has passed away. Rubberband Man was a favorite of mine from the 70s but they had hits in the 60s as well.

They were known as The Detroit Spinners in the UK, we had our own group called that.

Rubberband Man was a big hit in the USA when we were roller skating at the rink. That song is in my rotation. I was about 4 years too old to roller skate to Xanadu.
