*sigh* Another piece of my childhood gone. He was good in Magnum Force and Salems Lot too and dare I say it, "Silver Lady" was quite a good Country/Pop hit.I loved S&H and I've still got my Matchbox model Gran Torino (with the white stripe)!

RIP Hutch. One of the first singles I bought was Don't Give Up On Us (C'mon, I was only 12) and like you say Silver Lady was brilliant.

This is sad news, I think he had some ups and downs in his life but seemed to be more at peace with himself in his latter years.
