What about a fan of a band who wins a competition to share a hot tub with a member of the string section only to be stalked by his fellow forum members. Topic ideas getting a little too hot, cool them down, cool them down! Jim

Hey Guys, should we vote on Helmut's idea for the concept for the CD? Don't worry if you already submitted a song and feel like it doesn't fit the theme, I'll cook the liner notes accordingly to make it fit, mwhahahahhahahahaha!!!!
Here was Helmut's idea, I say unless anyone objects, we're going with it. Just let me know if that's OK?
"A medieval boy or teenager who is suddenly given the crown by the death of someone else (maybe his father or elder brother) and doesn't want to be there at all because he hates being a king and he just wants a normal life."
For my part, I have a song I'm thinking of lyrics for regarding this theme right now, if it wasn't for the theme idea, probably would have just kept it an instrumental. Hope to have that song ready in a few weeks. The working title of the song is "Slow and Steady" but when I add words, the title can change.
Jim

unomusette and BSJ, your ideas are welcome here too. I'd really like to have someone else's idea, at least one to compare with. I'm sure there can be better ideas than that one.

unomusette and BSJ, your ideas are welcome here too. I'd really like to have someone else's idea, at least one to compare with. I'm sure there can be better ideas than that one. Well here's an idea, the song "Gaylord Town" is about a guy with no great marketability who loses what little family he has and then goes down to Gaylord Town to see if he can find a job and has the slight glimmer of hope for a relationship to a woman he once met there. Maybe the album can be about that guy. Here is the lyrics: Going down to Gaylord Town Trying to Find some work Holy cross shadow me Show me what I'm worth.
Quit the plant in twenty-0-5 to be home and help out mom. Her and brother are both gone now and now I'm on my own.
Now I'm on my own. Hey!
Goin' down to the city trying to find the way to the woman that moved my heart on that cold September day.
I said I'm going down to the city trying to find the way to the woman that moved my heart on that cold September day. On that cold September day.
Going down to Gaylord Town tryin' to find some work. Holy cross, shadow me. Show me what I'm worth.
Show me what I'm worth. If we center it around that concept, maybe that song could be in the center and the other songs could be about the events before and after his decision to head down to Gaylord Town in search of a job and a new life? Jim

Yeah, that's what inspired it BSJ. I never heard anyone call it "Gaylord Town" though, just fit for the lyrics I made up for the music. Jim
