After having seen Horacewimp and Grroosss 's meetup on Birmingham, we South Americans didn't want to be less than our Northern Hemisphere counterparts. When I travelled to the UK to watch Jeff Lynne live at London I met up with 21stcenturyman (Brazilian ELO and Jeff Lynne fan) at Dublin, we spent a couple of days touring around Ireland and got to chat a lot about ELO. Now he travelled to Buenos Aires following the football team he's a fan of, Fluminense (from Rio de Janeiro), so we took advantage of the occasion to get together at a bar.  Unfortunately as opposed to the Birmingham meetup there weren't many ELO related places I could take him to in Buenos Aires given that Mr Lynne never set foot on this continent, let alone on this city; but I wore my ELO t-shirt and there was of course a bit of chatter about our musical hero to keep the ELO flame alive in this part of the world. |

Brilliant news, and you both look really happy to have met up  Must agree with the general approval of any kind of meet up, and especially a forum charter jet. Although the sort of thing that would go on might make Led Zeppelin's high jinks look a bit tame. I mean, what if the llamas insisted on colonising first class and got into the champagne before take off? And would there be room for a good swing at it, should when any spankings need to be administered? Would the crew kick off about having to all dress as Jeff? Would the beer and curry supply cause the back end to dip down? Maybe we need to think it out again... |

Thank you for your positive comment, guys! Indeed, it was a fun night out. We met at a bar where a language exchange meeting takes place so plenty of foreigners (in fact, the guy who took the pic for us was an Englishman who was so drunk I'm surprised he managed to take such a good pic). I fully support the flying ELO meetup idea. I share some of unomusette 's concerns and doubts, but I know for a fact that there wouldn't be a room for spankings as they compromise the stability of the flight. Members who feel irked will simply have to bear mockery and toomfoolery until the plane lands and the passengers are out of it (and at a 500 meter distance from each other).  |

What's this? No room for....excuse me?  Well, that's it then, without the threat of spankings there would be complete anarchy. No sensible country in the world would allow us to land and we'd end up balanced on an iceberg or something, all blaming each other for it. |

No way will I be marooned on some godforsaken island with ice or no (I don't relish the thought of nibbling on me ninja twins forearm when the food rations run out!)  The only thing that has kept this forum from complete anarchy, has been the threat of a spanking. Industrial Revolution leaders has shown us where fortitude will get you.  |

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
