If some of the terraced houses have been knocked down and replaced by modern '80s' looking houses, could it be possible that the album cover is made up of two separate rows of houses? the right side being Spring Mill Walk and the left side being the next street along?

If you look at the album cover, and follow the roofline of the houses on the left side, you can see the roof of the house on the sidestreet, making me think that the houses on the album cover were still standing when the picture was taken and so wouldn't have needed editing back in. Also the houses on mill Street have tiny front gardens which sets them back a bit which the ones on spring mill Street don't have.
