I've been messing around on this site for a few days now. I think it's a great idea and it's Free & Simple (my two favourite things) Can Horace Wimp Group Member add to my already rubbish acoustic guitar? The thing is i don't have a good camera and mic to record. I have a camera that films in 1080 and the files it produces are huge, and the sound quality is bad. Then my phone films decently and the file sizes are OK but I think it has a problem because the audio is barely audible.
If I could record sound only I would collaborate (I would record it through my notebook's mic), but unforunately that would be without images.

It uses webcam to record the video and line in (computer mic or usb/midi input) for the audio. You can't add from a phone or camcorder.
Hope you can manage to do it. It's worth experimenting with the site, it's great fun.

I';d love to give it a go tedblight Possibly could add some half decent (no make that quarter decent strings on) if i can work out how to do it! May have time next weekend to mess around.Will it pick up sound ok through my computer mic?

I'm glad you are enjoying this! I've always loved this song but would have never worked it up on my own. I tried learning it once and got stymied somehow. That nosebleed range of Jeff's, whew!
Thanks tedb for graciously adding all my tracks (so far LOL!) Great *light show* mate, and such a sweet sounding guitar. I also have an Epiphone elec/acoustic which was my workhorse for many years while I was hard-touring the Renaissance and Celtic Faires! I love the bit in the song where Lynne sings "She loves you, no, no, no" instead of "yeah yeah yeah", in a nod to the Beatles if I heard this right.

I actually taped over part of the lens for a track on tedb's Down Home Town when I rolled out of bed and just had to record a synth part right then! Plus I look like Tandy anyway and I didn't want to confuse anybody!  |

You are a pretty decent singer, good with many instruments and I definitely can tell you like this song, I can see it in the way you enjoy it. Also, it's funny how you dressed up with different things in each take. Let's see, I will be quite busy these next few days but maybe I can record something (audio only option) next week). |

bandhub can be a little difficult to navigate for sure but it's fun to collaborate with musicians from across the world. My idea of putting technology to goode use! thanks Helmut, glad you are enjoying what you hear and see there at Down Home town. I'll be AFK next week but looking forward to hearing your contributions real soon.

Red Alert! Rain is Falling is having technical difficulties and is not operarable at this time. I've emailed the bandhub site director because the prob is on their end. Unless it's our fault for layering too much, I'd hate to think WE BROKE BANDHUB!!!

I'd been practising the keyboard parts all last weekend!! Plus I've got some fantastic Thunder effects if you want them added?

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
