I had to check whether today was the 1st of April. It isn't. That doesn't explain this bizaarre story! There must be something in it - because the BBC are covering it too. Why are they picking on poor old Bounty bars?

Why are they picking on poor old Bounty bars? My favourite (plus I get to eat them all 'cos no-one else likes them in our household!)

Thought I was watching an ad from the '70's, it's so bawdy! It's like our Mounds bar where I nibble at the chocolate 'round the coconut.

As a consistent rejector of all things coconut, I applaud this move. Now, if the whole concept of Turkish Delight as a Cadbury/Fry's item of confectionary could also be removed, I would see this as a great day for civilized society!

Bounty, however, is one of the best in the tub. They'd be better off doing away with boring Milky Way or super-sugary Mars. Make it so!

My late dad worked at Rowntree Mcintosh in the 70s and 80s so walnut whips, texans and after eights were the order of the day (along with kitkats, smarties, cabanas, lion bars and broken Easter eggs!)

Cabanas! Ahh, that's one they should bring back.
Have you tried Smarties bars? Oh, yum.
