Great news! When is the exact time and date? I'm just waiting for the day when they announce: "The new album by Jeff Lynne's ELO!" It's bound to happen sometime in the next couple months. Well, I think you are way too optimistic, bHabs. Since how many years ago we've been hearing that sort of things? I'm sure by this time next year we will still be awaiting for it. Heck, I would even bet that Jeff will find himself playing the harp before that new album has come out. For the time being, at least we will be able to see him live once more, and that's good enough. |

And yes, "Jeff Lynne's ELO" sounds quite absurd, and what's worse, sounds like it misses something of the "real" ELO (which I don't think because the real ELO for me is Jeff Lynne, no matter who are the occasional musicians playing with him) or is a deformed spawn of the old one, a bit like Creedence Clearwater Revisited. But well, we will have to get used to it it seems.

Jeff has stated in many an interview lately that he intends to release a new album in 2015, which he will support with a tour. He even said in one of the most recent interviews that he's aiming for early spring. If we don't hear any word of a new album by May 1st, you can call me out on being hopelessly optimistic. But I have a really strong feeling that an announcement is coming soon. |

You may be right at that... but if not, you can always invent 10 or 12 names of songs and make the announcement all the same...  Geez, what a way of playing with our feelings! We were already discussing which of those songs would be rockers and which ballads judging by the names... lol |

In the UK the Grammys are to be shown on the 4music channel this is number 360 on Sky. It is on from 9.00pm Monday night.

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
