Cracking picture of the Humber Bridge Timeblue, are you thinking about going for a pilots licence. I'd love to get it but it costs around £7000 for a license to fly something of this size. Although it was a gift and an experience, it does count towards your licence!

A great experience Timeblue , something I would like to do. It was a Christmas present and was from 'Red Letter Days' but there are many other companies who do these sorts of events. I would highly recommend it, I was expecting to only get about 5 minutes assisted flying (it is an aeroplane after all) but I had around 35 to 40 minutes of actual flying the aircraft. I climbed, banked, turned and dived. The instructor controlled the speed but I did everything else. Go for it!

What a great gift  I think you should go for the pilot licence as you never know if you might have to fly a plane yourself these days if you want to get on holiday  |

Okay okay, not content with Mrs T trying to get rid of me with the flying lesson,she has now gone and booked a skydive for me! I may have mentioned in passing that it's been on my bucket list but that doesn't give her the right to try to get her hands on my money if it fails! It's booked for September so I'll post pics then...

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
