Save Me Now was thrown a lifeline in match eighteen, and it moves on.
Well, match nineteen is gonna be very interesting as we have two of ELO's most loved ballads facing off-Can't Get It Out Of My Head vs. Steppin' Out.
REMEMBER TO VOTE IN THE POLL OR YOUR VOTE WON'T COUNT

Both are really beautiful, but I think Stepping Out might be a little better.

Steppin' Out is an important song. It's a superb introduction to the 'concerto'.
But, my heart and my 'head' makes me pick the other one. I will NEVER forget the beautiful sight of all those mobile phone lights on that Saturday evening, the 24th of June, 2017.
Can't Get It Out Of My Head was being played, and I was awestruck by what I was seeing all around the stadium.
No competition... the 'head' has it.

Steppin' Out is an important song. It's a superb introduction to the 'concerto'. Indeed. In my mind, the 'Concerto' starts from 'Believe Me Now' and ends with 'Sweet Is The Night'. Jeff must be a big fan of the song, since he's played live only a handful of songs that weren't singles with his current lineup. (Tightrope and Standing In The Rain are the other two I can thing of.) Steppin' Out is obviously the lesser song out of these two, but I like them both about equally. Today 'doo-da-da-dee' moved me more, so I'll pick that one.

Woah, this is biggest one so far imo, both are BIG ballads and well loved by the fans. Eldorado and OOTB are two of my three favourite albums so this is a difficult one but I'm going for Steppin'Out simply because it features on perhaps the best side to any album, the Concerto For A Rainy Day.

You may need to retract your vote because Steppin' Out is not on it. It closes the previous album side. It has the same theme though, but we're still firmly on the day before the 'Rainy Day'. The clouds are gathering.

What a shame to see one of these go out early. On the top 12 thread, I put Can't Get It Out Of My Head at number 9 and Steppin' Out at number 10 so I will stick with that order and vote for the former.

My only excuse (and it's a feeble one) is that I haven't played the vinyl since about 1990,only the cd to and since there are no sides,Steppin 'Out precedes Concerto ..

Ooh, this is difficult but I'll go with 'Steppin' Out' because I prefer it today.

Can't Get It Out of My Head, easy choice this time.
I love the acoustic Steppin Out, though.

Can't Get It Out Of My Head is a great song, even better when you hear it following on from Eldorado Overture on the album. Steppin' Out pips it for me though, it's just fab and I especially love the outro
