The emotional ballad Getting to the Point decimated Stream of Stars in an absolute bloodbath to win match eleven, so it plows forward unmercifully.
In match twelve, the Out of the Blue track Believe Me Now is doing battle with Dreaming of 4000, from On the Third Day.

Difficult one, but 4000 wins out.

Not a big fan of either but DO4000 edges it for me...

An epic versus a 'filler' track...
Sorry, no competition. I saw the light...

Love Dreaming... so it snags my vote. I especially like the twiddly guitar intro

Don't Bring Me Down was the first single by anyone that I bought and Dreaming Of 4000 was the B-side and I came to love it just as much as the A-side. I like Believe Me Now as well but Dreaming wins this one.

Dreaming Of 4000 is probably my favourite song out of the first three ELO albums, so I'm voting for that one.
I like Believe Me Now too. If I were to compile a single disc 'Out Of The Blue', it would fit in. But I think of it more as an intro to 'Steppin' Out' than a proper song of its own. A bit like 'Eldorado Overture'.

well 5 minutes of ELO is better than 1, right?

Dreaming is so EARNEST. They were youngins then. I hear same in Believe, although it's much more polished. Dreaming wins because it's a desert island pick. I'll have no choice but to pay attention to it and appreciate this classic rough and tumble ELO song.

I like Believe Me Now as well but Dreaming wins this one. They had a habit of picking b-sides from previous albums, but this must be the most bizarre pairing of them all!
