Blue Banisters is AOTY for me, hands down. In 2019 I said the same thing about Norman Effing Rockwell. I think she is brilliant. Her music is sweeping and cinematic. Discuss.

I'm in total agreement with you @ole.
For those that aren't familiar with Lana, here's a couple of songs to get you started.
and my favorite of hers

I must confess to not knowing anything of hers pre NFR, yet. I will definitely change this though.
It took me a while to "get" Chemtrails Over The Country Club. That one seemed very low key after the epicness of NFR. But now I recognize the brilliance of this understated gem.

When I first became aware of her a few years ago, I didn't think much of her. However, as time has gone by I realize that she has a really good grasp of what good pop music should be. The only thing that bugs me is the same thing that bothers me about a lot of newer alternative/pop artists, and that's the overuse of reverb and echo, especially on the vocals. But that's on the producer, not the artist.

Great voice, Incredible Writer, Model looks. Why isn't she a world-wide superstar. Video Games is enough to make any musician want to retire. Beautiful song. I am depressed and impressed in equal measure.
