The ones I can remember are:
- Billy Squier, "Don't Say No" - Queen, "The Game" - J. Geils Band, "Showtime" - Kansas, "The Best of Kansas"
It seems I probably received a few more than that over the years, but maybe those were it; they were the ones I remember at least.
How about you?
Jim

The Cure - Disintegration
I hadn't liked what I had heard from The Cure up to that moment so my expectations when I was about to listen to it for the first time were quite low. I didn't become a fan of the band, but I must say the album as a whole was above my expectations.

Would you believe me if I told you I worked in the same radio station as Thomas 2 years ago? Thomas and I had loadsa great ELO conversations. Nice guy, cool band! Wow...for real? I absolutely love them, and I must thank ELO for discovering this band... I'm listening to their music 7/24 (My wife will ask divorce sooner or later ) I bought their first two albums directly from Thomas ("Almanac" and "Almond Tea"), the CD's are signed by Thomas (Who signed the "Almanac" poster too). Then the Christmas presents ("A Rose in a Garden of Weeds" and "The Olympus Sound") and I pre-ordered a signed copy of the new album too

I worked for Radio Nova in Dublin. Thomas had a show with Marti Millar, and I was a part of the promotion team. Both Thomas and I used to talk all things E.L.O. and we also were big fans of an Irish band called Lir. I couldn't tell you the amount of times I have seen them play! Small lil venues 500 capacity. Supporting Lir. I have never put this up cause I figured folks here would think I was bull*****ing. But nice guy! I'm glad things are going well for him.

The only two albums I remember getting for Christmas, are The Kinks "State of Confusion" (vinyl, bitches!), and George Thorogood's "Haircut" album...for some reason.
