Matt Bellamy... Moby...
This kind of charts are useless imo. smileys-whistling-823718
Jon Lord is still my fav, but if I had to pick one (or two) I'd go for Reese Wynans and Lachy Doley.

Lists like these are always subjective but at least Richard was mentioned.....

I'd have put Rick Wakeman at no. 1 as well. Nice to see Matt B in there at no. 52 but why some people appear there is a mystery - since when is Dave Stewart renowned for his keyboard playing? I've never seen him play anything but guitar/bass.

The five keyboardists I've listened to the most are Richard Tandy, Greg Hawkes, Edward Van Halen, Geddy Lee and Richard Wright...

Glad to see Gary Brooker at number 21 in the greatest rock pianists list. 21 is obviously a lucky number .
Procol's Matthew Fisher is 11 in the keyboardists? I'm happy but I'd rather it be Tandy.

However I see him more as a frontman/guitarist than a keyboard player.
That said, I think he's a virtuoso pianist.

Of course! I know you appreciate the talents of the sainted Bellamy But there are some puzzling choices in there, in my opinion anyway.

The matter is sooo subjective and blurry that it's even pointless to make a ranking IMO. It's even hard to do with bands or with songs, when in those cases you have a few more measurable parameters to make comparisons; but to compare instrument playing or instrument players is so subjective it's pointless.
Maybe just mentioning as many as you want to put at a first level would be enough.

That was my point, there must be 1000's of great keyboard/piano players and to pick the 'the best 50' is just wrong. It's like me saying Sweet Talkin Woman is the greatest song ever, some may agree with me but most won't....
