Agreed regarding the font size in the booklets! But I have found that both albums have aged pretty well, meaning that they stand up to repeated listening. These albums are the best highlights to date in ELO's 50th year.
And by the way, when we paid money for these, a portion went in Jeff Lynne's pocket.

As a general rule of thumb, particularly when you're in the UK and buying from the US...... the Customs declaration attached to the packaging will have a declared value of the contents. If the value is greater than the equivalent of £20 GBP then you get charged VAT (at 20%) on the difference. The Post Office, in their infinite wisdom also add an £8 'handling charge' for no real reason whatsoever! So yes, you can have quite a disproportionate bill at the end of it.
Some places, e.g. Amazon US allow you to prepay a Customs fee which ends up cheaper and avoids the Post Office fee. I always now go for this if given the option.
To be fair to Renaissance, they deliberately keep the declared contents value below £20 if they can (depending on how much you've bought). In other words they bend the rules to the consumer's benefit. It may even be cheaper in future to order things separately just to keep the package value down. Even if you're paying postage two or three times, it may still end up cheaper overall. Certainly worth doing your homework as yes, I've been caught out a few times too.

Certainly worth checking the small print.

Certainly worth checking the small print. As sooneorlater mentioned Mrs LT was told about a charge on the item as it was over the value of £50. As you say it’s better always checking, it has made me very wary. Once bitten.....
