I would guess there will be a steady stream of adjustments to the Brexit deal. I mean they only had 5 years to work on it so shouldn't expect it to be perfect right out of the gate ;/

I would guess there will be a steady stream of adjustments to the Brexit deal. I mean they only had 5 years to work on it so shouldn't expect it to be perfect right out of the gate ;/ Definitely, it works both ways with artists from Europe wanting to play here, there will be concessions made I think. The one thing that annoys me with us leaving the EU is that the media (especially those that are pro EU biased ) always portray it as the UK only who will lose out and not Europe. We are the biggest market for numerous countries in the EU and deals WILL be made to satisfy all interests....

Nope ... the expected gdp drop as result of Brexit will take a generation to get over. 80% of the UK activity (Services) is not even been looked at yet. This is an never ending issue it will have to keep being looked at every 4 years... this whole thing has just started.
it is an unforgivable mess generated to resolve internal fighting in the conservative party and has spread itself to the rest of the UK.
it is not pro or anti brexit media, they are just stating the rabbit hole we have got into... totally unnecessarily ,....

Things are not going to be perfect for a few years but we will be more successful out than in. When other nations such as Italy who also want to leave see how we do then the landslide will start, France too with a growing unease led by Le Pen will gather strength. I give the EU 10 years max....

www.euronews.com/2020/08/10/nearly-half-of-italians-would-support-leaving-the-eu-if-brexit-is-successful-according-toThe next 5 years will be important to how the EU will go, if we make a success of this (IMHO, we will) then other countries will follow namely Italy, Greece and Spain. If LePen can gather even more support then France will stop being Germanys lapdog and unrest will follow. The NI situation fill sort itself out, if Switzerland can have 5 hard borders and still operate with no problems then a single one in NI shouldn't be that problematic. Scotland had a chance to leave a while back but didn't so I don't think they will leave either. Like I said, the next 5 years will be the test.....

Scotland stayed on the basis it would be part of the EU , now it isn't. It voted against withdrawal (as did NI)... The deal is actually much much worse than we had...the whole exercise has cost more than was originally thought. The Tax dodgers in govt have succeeded in splitting the country. This whole exercise has gone from strengthening the UK by the rather pointless sovereignty debate to actually threatening the union of the UK. With about 50% of the UK against leaving the EU this will never be over. The popularist BS which points to everyone else being to blame it very short term and ALWAYS fails in the end (we can see trump has tried it and failed)...hopefully the failed journalist who is currently in office in the uk goes the same way.
