Go on then,I'll give you the chance to get me back. I've said plenty of times that 1978 is my favourite year for music and songs such as 'The Smurf Song' or Brian and Michaels 'Matchstick Cats and Dogs' are ok with me.... The smurf song that makes Jive bunny look like AC/DC did like matchstick cats and dogs though

You never heard of The Smurf Song? Would it have something to do with the colour?

'Matchstick Cats and Dogs' is a classic. I used to listen to my mum's vinyl single when I was little and for reasons unknown it always made me feel sad. She also has more Wombles singles than I thought possible but seeing as they are also approved by Roy Wood I overlook their uncoolness.
My favourite appearance of 'Matchstick Cats and Dogs' -

Well, thanks to tremblinwilbury starting this thread, I’m brought here with an unusual ‘Sights and Sounds’ type post... I was utterly confused by the strange Beatles medley I heard driving home this evening, until at the end they announced that it was Stars on 45! Never thought I’d be hearing that on the radio, but evidently it hit #1 here in the US (tonight the station was playing only #1’s from throughout the years).

I think Starsound were Dutch so to get the Liverpool accents right was nothing short of amazing. Loved them at the time and I wish I was back in 1981....

I remember getting loads of stick for buying this back in the day. It is embarrassing but it is catchy and still makes me smile.

Terra Prime has just finished on The Horror Channel, here in the UK. Horror has been showing the series every evening. This episode is a more fitting conclusion to Enterprise than that convoluted 'official' final attempt being shown tomorrow. It isn't the first time Enterprise has been shown - and it won't be the last. I don't mind - I'm a Star Trek fan By the way, I've always referred to it as Enterprise - and I always will. I've looked, and found the full version of the theme song. The opening titles fit the 'theme' of exploration so well - but the complete song is something else... There was more than a single tear in my eye after watching that...
