Standout points for me
Using Nashville tunings (i suspected he used it to completely replace the 12 string), didn't realise he used a combination (sneaky get) machine high hat (essentially a click track in plain sight).. the v high harmony isn't necessary as prominent in the mixes and sounds brilliant the BV's generally are just amazing ..given no auto-tuning the verb on the vocal at the end of ch lines is just amazing For what is essentially a simple structure, how complex he makes it.
there is of course scant detail into the engineering of the sound ... this is just organisation of tracks and vocals .... it all sounds brilliant
