To distract us, from any disappointing news we may have had lately, how about this?
A live performance of an epic!

in the early '80s, I absolutely wore out my ears listening to Dire Straights (just like ELO in late '70s) then in the early '90s - a favorite distraction was Matthew Sweet, especially his Girlfriend album

This made me smile a whole lot today, not to mention indulge in some spontaneous headbanging. This Muse song is celebrating the 20th anniversry of its first live performance and the brilliant French fan site has put together a montage of it being played across the years. It was the first song of theirs I ever heard and by the time the bass came in after the piano intro I was well and truly hooked. Some epic gigs here, many of which I was lucky enough to attend. For me ninja twin BSJ there's lots of footage of Chris the bassist, sporting some interesting hairdos (and hair don'ts) but always looking divine. Sadly it's now relegated to a disappointing "Metal Medley" live, but we the hardcore fans are hoping that's only a blip and it will return in full next tour.

On Chris? Must agree. On Matt? Love it, even though he looks like a demented cockerel

Yes, but a strangely scrumptious rodent, and also one with a massive great big...bank account

Can't argue with that either, unomusette! I don't know which rodent has more papers under his belt, Bellamy bills on the bank or the gerbils forms chewed.
